Light, mild and fruity, this sake is matured for six months before bottling. Sake does not age in the same way as wine, so younger sake like this is just as delicious as aged varieties. Sake Meter Value (SMV): +2.0.
Traditionally, nama-chozo is only pasturised just before bottling, after maturing for six months. This gives it a fresh, crisp flavour. It tastes best lightly chilled or served with ice.
Nama-chozo is best served chilled.
• Serve at room temperature in a glass with ice.
• Alternatively, refrigerate several hours before drinking for ice-cold refreshment.
